I’m very impressed with this product!! I’ve tried other homeopathic “stress relievers” but CALM NOW is by far the best. It truly is calming and takes affect about 15 minutes after taking. I have an extremely demanding and stressful job and this product has honestly helped me cope with the day-to-day anxiety and pressure. I love that CALM NOW gives me that perfect sense of well being and does not make me drowsy.
5.0 out of 5 stars Unbiased, “scientific” review – definitely reduced my anxiety symptoms

... I am very skeptical and analytical, and was not paid for leaving this feedback (I want to help others by providing an unbiased, scientific review) so I hope you can take my words at face value when I say that I am certain this supplement has reduced my anxiety symptoms. I won’t say that I’m to a point of no anxiety from taking this supplement, but I can feel myself being less agitated or stressed by situations that would have usually increased my heart rate and blood pressure. I am able to fall asleep more easily, am less irritable and am able to not let my emotions get out of hand as much as before, and have not experienced a full panic attack at all this past month. If I were to quantify its effectiveness for me, I’d say that it has cut my daily anxiety symptoms by approximately 50%. I am going to continue this supplement and begin adding in the other supplements as well in hopes for an even better result. Of course, supplements are metabolized by individuals differently, so how it works for me may be different for you.

How Does Each Ingredient in Calm Now Offer Anxiety Relief?

It is made using all-natural ingredients that offer stress and anxiety support. With Calm Now, patients will stay feeling good and in control. This supplement is made using some carefully selected, proven effective and safe ingredients. These are the following:

Vitamin B1, Vitamin B2, Niacin, Vitamin B6, Vitamin B5, Magnesium, Zinc, Hawthorn Powder, Lemon Balm Extract, Passion Flower Extract, Hops Extract, Ashwagandha Powder, Rhodiola Rosea Extract, Bacopa Monnieri.

 B Vitamins

B-Vitamins such as B1, Vitamin B2, Niacin, Vitamin B6, Vitamin B5, vitamins play a role in producing brain chemicals that affect mood and other brain functions.  It has also been known to improve mood symptoms and mental health quality of life in adults with anxiety and depression.

Dr. Travell was the White House physician for Presidents Kennedy and Johnson and a professor of medicine at George Washington University Medical School. She was also the world’s leading expert on pain management. Vitamin B-1 is critical for proper brain function, mental clarity, and energy production as well as for preventing the production of excess lactic acid (lactate). A large body of research has shown that excess sensitivity to high levels of lactic acid is intimately involved in causing anxiety attacks in those that are prone to them. She noted that 500 mg of Vitamin B-1 three times a day was highly effective in treating anxiety. I was astounded at the effectiveness of this very simple and safe treatment when we started using it in our practice. It actually decreases anxiety and improves mental clarity by overcoming metabolic blocks and helping your body to work more effectively—instead of by numbing you!

Magnesium can help with anxiety, headaches, depression, insecurity, and restlessness.  In several studies, Wacker and Parisi reported that magnesium deficiency can cause numerous symptoms such as anxiety, depression, irritability, and other behavioral disturbances, but can be reversed with a magnesium supplement.

Zinc contains enzymes that are necessary for the synthesis of serotonin which is a treatment to help reduce anxiety. It has been noted that a severe zinc deficiency could reduce serotonin and an increase in anxiety.  As indicated in a publication in the National Center for Biotechnology Information website (NCBI), a clinical study found that a zinc deficiency is the cause of mood disorders. It also showed that zinc plays an important in their treatment.

This suggested that the combined herbal preparation helped individuals cope with psychological and emotional stress as well.2

Passion Flower

Passionflower is also known as Passiflora and some studies indicated that certain species may have medicinal benefits. For example, Passiflora incarnata may help relieve anxiety and insomnia.” It appears to boost the level of gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) in your brain. This compound lowers brain activity, which may help you relax and sleep better.”3

Hops are used to help treat various health problems, like sleeplessness and nervous problems.  Studies have indicated that hops have a sedating effect promoting calmness and sleep.4

Clinically, ashwagandha is found to be very helpful to calm anxiety and help with a stress which is sometimes accompanied by nervousness and sleeplessness.   In a treatment group in 2012, 54 volunteers were given the ashwagandha root extract for 60 days and after two months they demonstrated a significant reduction in anxiety without side effects.5

Rhodiola Rosea Extract

Rhodiola (Rhodiola Rosea), sometimes called Arctic root or golden root helps to increase a resistance to stress and anxiety.   An internationally known expert, Tieraona Low Dog, M.D., in the field of women’s health, says “that it is one of her favorite herbs for treatment of patients suffering from 21st-century stress”: fatigue, mental fog, trouble concentrating, low energy and mild depression. She recommends using a standardized Rhodiola Rosea extract.6

Bacopa Monnieri

Bacopa is one of the safest and best ways to reduce anxiety and increase test performance. “According to the research studies done on both elderly and regular adults, bacopa monnieri has a great tendency for reducing anxiety.
